Cedric Nolf long jumps to 6th at 2015 World University Championships

At the World University Games, WAFEL athlete Cedric Nolf leaped to 6th place in the men’s long jump final on Sunday July 12. Nolf, who entered the competition with a 7m64 season’s best managed to nearly equal his personal best mark (7m91) leaping 7m83 on his second attempt.

Hanne Claes places 7th at 2015 World University Games

Belgian sprint/hurdler Hanne Claes led her country to 6th place in the women’s 200m final at the World University Games last Friday. Earlier that day Hanne clocked 23.94 in the semi-final to take 2nd place which automatically qualified her for the final. The 24-year-old improved in the final to a decent 23.75.
